HONEST & RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP

My wife, Karen, and I have lived in Richmond for more than 20 years. I am an attorney running a small law firm in Providence. We have three children – two Chariho graduates (2015 & 2016), and one is currently a student at Chariho Middle School.

I have served in leadership positions at several community organizations. I was Chariho Youth Soccer Association President for 4yrs. I have been a leader in Troop 1 Richmond BSA for 9 years and served as the Troop Committee Chair from 2012-2016. I was a den leader in Pack 1 Richmond Cub Scouts for 8 years. I have been a board member of the Arcadia YMCA for more than 10 yrs. I also served on the board of the Ocean Community YMCA and I was the Chair/Chief Volunteer Officer of the Ocean Community YMCA from 2021-2023.

For the Town of Richmond before being elected to Town Council , I was the Chair of the Board of Tax Assessment Review. In 2022 I was Vice Chair of the Charter Review Commission. I was appointed Town Moderator 2021 and presided at the Financial Town Meeting that year and at the Chariho Budget Public Hearing in 2022.

In 2022 I ran for Richmond Town Council and was 170 votes short of being elected. I ran again in 2024 and was elected with the second highest vote total. After being sworn in, I was elected Vice President of the Town Council by my fellow council members.
