  • Approved changes to ordinance regarding licenses for outdoor and indoor public entertainment - to make clear applies to any public entertainment, not just music, and eliminated monthly inspection requirements for indoor licenses.

  • Authorized hiring of staff for an April school vacation camp.

  • Authorized use of remaining ARPA funds for soft washing exterior of Town Hall and painting window trim. 

  • Adopted Resolution requesting that the General Assembly fully fund categorical transportation aid for Chariho. 

  • Received updates from Economic Development Commission and Richmond Investment for Commercial Health (RICH) Task Force.

  • State Rep Megan Cotter discussed legislation she is working on establishing a state property tax deferment program, modifying housing laws to ensure protection of water sources, and seeking more aid for regional school districts like Chariho.
